All Things: TELEVISON

did ANYONE stick with Wayward Pines. Heard it went full Shamalayan at the end. If you did...should I watch?
I did. What the *%^&

Actually the bigger reveal came in mid-season. It wasn't what I was expecting, but at least there was still somewhat of potential to it. From their it spiraled a few episodes. But the ending (more specifically the last 5-10 minutes), I mean lord. Shamalamamalyian to the nth power and really wiped me out. I mean come on, really? I can't spoil any of it, but the payoff was not worth the effort.

Like take the end of the god awful Mark Wahlberg planet of the apes movie, and multiply by that by the Shamalamalan pi factor, and that was about it.

I had a problem with what happened to the characters for Juliette Lewis and Terrence Howard. I mean for the size and scope of their roles, there really was no reason to just not have some no name actors play those parts.
I thought Matt Dillon was really good threw the whole season. I still have somewhat of a crush on Carla Gugino since Son In Law. Toby Jones was very suitable for the part. They could've done a lot more of the us vs. them once the "big bads" were revealed.

That ‘Married… With Children’ Spin-Off Starring Bud Bundy Might Really Be Happening
http://uproxx.com/tv/2015/07/married-with-children-spinoff/

Here’s some news on that Married… with Children spin-off we first mentioned was being pitched nearly a year ago. David Faustino was on hand at the premiere of his former sitcom sibling Christina Applegate’s Vacation, out today, and E!’s Marc Malkin asked him for an update as to the status of the project. Although nothing is set in stone yet, he says that it’s in Sony’s hands, and the production company is apparently “very excited” about it.

But what’s more is that the whole cast has now agreed to be involved in some capacity. Can I get a “no Bundy?” (Sorry.)

“The whole cast, including Christina, is down to do little bits in it,” Faustino said, adding, “The idea would be a pilot for a spinoff. That’s all I can say right now. It involves me and few other people.”

“All of us have said we would all be there for [Faustino],” said Applegate, who played the Bundys’ daughter Kelly.

Asked what she thinks her character would be up to these day, Applegate said. “Kelly Bundy probably has like 10 kids. I’m sure of it.”

I don't know how I feel about that. Married with Children is my all time favorite show, and I almost feel like just let it be, don't taint with anything new.

I'm all for this. Would they be able to get Al Bundy for an episode or two? Or would Modern Family say no?

I didn't think I had to weigh in...Guys guys guys...this is a HORRIBLE idea. If you have seen MWC recently you realize that about the only show on tv with the same whipsmart lowbrow humor is Always Sunny. And that's buried on FxX. On a major network...even Fox, who built their empire on the back of the original show, it will be soooooooooooo soft and watered down. No, just NO.

If there's anything low-brow humor that's in Primetime right now, it has to be 2 Broke Girls, right? An anatomy or weed joke every minute or two... and the ratings have it in Season 4 this year.

Hahaha!

‘Little Women’ Series Produced By Michael Weatherly In Development At CW

Written by Jolly, Little Women is described as a hyper-stylized, gritty adaptation of the 1868 novel by Louisa May Alcott, in which disparate half-sisters Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy band together in order to survive the dystopic streets of Philadelphia and unravel a conspiracy that stretches far beyond anything they have ever imagined – all while trying not to kill each other in the process.

Moe was right, "They were no longer little girls, sniff, they were little women." :cbgb: mhihi:

REVIEW Season 2: Andy Daly Returns to Test More Life Experiences
http://collider.com/review-season-2-andy-daly-returns-to-test-more-life-experiences/

Anyone watch this? First off, this guy is hilarious. Secondly, this show is soooooooooooooo very very dark. I mean, superdark. First season he reviewed what it is like to be addicted to cocaine. So he tried it...again and again and again. Painfully funny.

You know, I thought all the commercials for this looked painfully unfunny and then I watched part of an episode while waiting for whatever was on after it to come on and enjoyed it. Hopefully, this ends up on Netflix or something at some point so I can watch it.

First season WAS on Hulu. Not sure if it still is.
