I love that Bruce and Lucy, haha, are going to be back together like the good old Xena days!! :woot:

I was so into Xena, haha, I used to buy the comics. :D

Just did a marathon of the first 4 episodes of Key & Peele. Either they are getting out too late or they are phoning it in. Just not real funny so far. And a return to the over reliance on race based humor.

Much like last season, this one has been very disappointing. It frequently seems like sketches go on for too long. Also not sure why they stuck with the "road trip" interstitial stuff, as it's rarely funny/entertaining.

I'm almost kinda glad this is the last season. Hopefully, their film work will be different.

Jesus, Hannibal is ponderous and pretentious.

Even more so than before, I agree. It still has it's moments, and I still love it, but it's been super slow this season. The visuals are still great and the dialogue is still pretty great, but the plot/story...

I thought K&P was soooo good last season. They went for the more surreal jokes and, as much as you dislike the desert ride framing bit, it is sooooooo much better than the previous, where they were uncomfortable in front of a live audience vibe. they seem to have lost interest in the show...which is fine, cause I have too.

As far as Hannibal, I think it's always been like this. I just didn't mind it because stuff HAPPENED. This season is SOOOOOOOO glacierly paced, there really is no meat on the bones. The Red Dragon(so far) has been portioned out so sparingly, that I just don't care. And Alana becoming Verger lesbian mama just seems sooooo off. Listless. The show is already missing Joe Anderson's Mason Verger, simply because his scenes at least had a kinda hammy, scene chewing energy. Everyone else seems stone faced and going through the motions.

Oh, I do love the return of Scott Thompson and the other forensic guy. But their scenes are few and far between too. I think, without the violence and artfully designed death masturbation, this show is an empty dead thing. You can try to convince me you are making art as much as you want, but it's tv. You have to entertain too.

Oh, and Lawrence Fishburne's Jack, who had a very emotional arc with his dying wife, no longer has any 'man behind the curtain'. It's just an empty fa?ade at this point.

I binge watched the first season of "Bosch" from Amazon. While it had a pretty low budget feel, I still enjoyed it for the most part and felt it fairly represented the books (which I really enjoy).
