Falling Skies finale...

SPOILER ALERTS

What an EPPPPPIC battle between Mason and the Queen. It took over 13 seconds! And was the queen straight out of Starship Troopers?

At least the Pope storyline had some kind of conclusion, but where the hell was he leading up to and during the entire final battle sequence? Did I miss it and he was the one who shot Mason's wife?

Very rushed finale. And yet when the "Thank you fans for watching 5 seasons" came up on the credits, I still got quite nostalgic.

Were the egg things right out of Alien(s)?

Most of the episode was good, but the battle with the queen was exceptionally lame. Nothing like the fate of the world coming down to a guy being able to stretch and stretch to reach something. I was hoping that Mason would at least trick the queen into grabbing the virus macguffin, because then he would have won with brains, but no.

Entertaining popcorn show for the summer.

Not happy they bumped Legends until November.

That cannot be the last of Pope. No way after all that would they end it for him like that

It wasn't but what they did with Pope at the end was just as bad. The whole finale season was not good specially the final battle seen. They started mailing it in with the complete episodes sidetracks with the Weaver kidnapping and the two at the Army base added little to the plot-lines. Also where were all the overlords that Ben saw in his visions. They would just leave the queen unguarded. Also why would the queen come after the rebels took out the moon power supply and not before. I wish they would have gone further with the story line of the rebel skitters helping to tear down the esphini from within. Seemed last season the really went off rail with half human/half esphini daughter. I stuck it out to the end but thought they definitely closed it out on a down note.

uscdguy1 I was little sad at the end when that happened to. It's a lot different when you follow a series like that versus when I have watched full series on Netflix over a month or two. I guess you just don't get to get that attachment like over 5 years.

Ok. spoiler free please...I got a bit on my plate, wanna check out Hellboy/Clay's Hand of God show...but this one is haunting me. Is it THAT good? The lead is scary looking, it's about hacking, and I already have enough Christian Slater in my diet(archer)...why should I front burner this?

I'm not saying you need to front burner it, but it's not like anything else on TV atm. The lead is creepy but it works for his character. There are some great wtf moments that you don't want to get spoiled.
