All Things: TELEVISON

Mal - Castle
Zoe - Suits
Inara - Gotham/Deadpool
Wash - ST:Rogue One
Jayne - ?
Kaylee - ?
Simon - ?
River - ?

I swear I read Suits was over or almost over. Inara's minor role on Gotham has to end sooner or later, and Deadpool is just a movie.

There is one other thing, but...

Agents of Shield... so typical. If "Ward" is back next year after these final 4 eps I'm out.

Gotham has been so up and down I wasn't sure what could be worse than jumping out of a window with a parachute before the Christmas break. Then the second half got worse where there's maybe 1/4 to 1/2 worth watching in an Ep.

Jayne:The Last Ship on TNT

What is the status of that one? It is completely... beneath my radar. A TNT show probably does not have enough episodes to keep someone busy the whole year though. If Netflix can bring back Full House, I think they can do something that is actually productive.

Must have some popularity because they have had a big presence @ sdcc the past 2 years. Of course NerdHq tends to give them a pay-for-panel, probably because of the Casey/Chuck connection. I think, for TNT, it does pretty well...not spectacular...you know, like JAG. A steady producer/return on investment.

So I just saw the most recent episode of Modern Family on Hulu (Episode title: Man Shouldn't Lie) and in that episode they had Kings/Ducks at Staples with the Ducks wearing orange that game. Pretty cool to see them film a scene right on the glass. I looked up the date of the game, to see when they filmed it and it was Thursday Feb 4th.

Alec Baldwin Will Host ABC’s ‘Match Game’ Revival This Summer
http://uproxx.com/tv/alec-baldwin-host-match-game/

This took WAY longer than I would have expected. Baldwin is an interesting choice. Will he be jovial AB or 'dirty little pig' AB. The parade of c listers should be interesting. The original show was lucky enough to catch 'no ****s given' folks like Charles Nelson Reilly, Brett Sommers, etc... I can't see a network show encouraging that kinda looseness.

‘Bates Motel’ 4.07 Recap: “Mother, I’m Coming Home”
http://www.highdefdigest.com/blog/bates-motel-407-recap/

Despite some very strong performances this season (which continue this week), I’ve felt like the writers didn’t really have enough story for ten episodes. (Keep in mind that they’ve essentially plotted out the remainder of the series, as Season 5 will be the final one.) So they’ve moved Norman away to Pineview for a big chunk of Season 4. Now that he’s back home, however, things should really start picking up and I’m anxious to see who will or won’t survive this season’s finale. My bet is that both Emma and Dylan are in big trouble. I think Alex is a marked man too, but should survive for at least one more year.

I may be the only one still watching, still...this season has been pretty damned good. Like the article states, some great performances. Freddie Highmore in particular. I did not know next season is going to be the last. I'm ok with that. Seems like a good time to wrap it up.

Is There More To The Adam Walsh Story?
http://uproxx.com/news/is-adam-walsh-still-alive/

I remember sort of reading about this in the heyday of America's Most Wanted's John Walsh. It's a heavy, and at times confusing read. I have to imagine it's being shopped as part of the new True Crime trend that is starting to surface. I would watch, but you have to feel for the parents. Whether right or wrong, they got some closure...and this threatens to undermine that. Then again, according to the article, Adam Walsh may still be alive.

TV Performer of the Week: Freddie Highmore, ‘Bates Motel’
http://collider.com/tv-performer-of-the-week-freddie-highmore-bates-motel/

Not the best tv show in general. Wheel spinning sometimes, and horribly uneven. More of a guilty pleasure for the BatSh#t crazy moments...but man, stocked with really really good performances. And Highmore has been terrific this season. A force of nature through a ton of tears and rage spit. And when he does 'Norma', fantastic. Vera Farmigia has always been solid on this show too. And damnit, I hetero...but I just get lost in Nestor Carbonel's dark eyes and magical eyebrows. Dreamy.
