All Things: TELEVISON

I know I am late as the show just ended but The Goldbergs episode tonight was all about "Big Orange". Barry's Flyers Tee. The best sports-related scripted TV episode in a long time!

I started watching that show with the Rush episode a month or so ago. Pretty amusing. I never watched it because the father seemed to be annoying, yelling all the time, which is pretty much what he does, but he seems to have the least screentime of anyone.

Remember, Rush are from Canada, where "it’s super cold, so they have to rock super hard to stay warm."

The Rush ep was great, and they've done a few other musical ones too, with the Beastie Boys one earlier this year, probably at the top.

Yeah I was able to see that one too since they had a few on the On Demand, and it was hysterical.

Hard to believe that I will not see the best looking Captain I've ever seen again. Good show and a great looking daughter. Molly C Quinn

Funny how toiling in obscurity can make everyone all Friendsy again.

The new lineup also includes a new live-action/animation hybrid comedy called Son of Zorn, executive produced by Phil Lord and Chris Miller and starring Jason Sudeikis as a 2D-animated character leading a sitcom of sorts.

I'm listening...

I have always like time travel series/movies and this one looks like it has potential. One of the problems I see with this series is that if it doesn't have very good ratings, it has a greater chance of being cancelled due to high production costs.

Same. I like time traveling shows/movies myself. I believe NBC is airing it after The Voice so it might hold up. The problem is that everyone pretty much have ADD these days so no one is patient enough to see how things will pan out anymore. Which in turn, causes shows to rush storylines at times which screws up the show itself entirely. =\

The new NBC and CBS slate of shows look like a lot of: "Nuked By Christmas" and Cancelled By Sweeps".
