All Things: TOYS, TIE-INs & MERCHANDISING

Exclusive: Check Out Some Awesome MAD MAX: FURY ROAD Posters by Mondo
http://collider.com/mondo-mad-max-fury-road-posters-mike-mitchell-ken-taylor/

While I love Mondo posters, one of the big issues is the ability to purchase them. They sell out. Fast. Like under a minute and they’re gone, because they only create a limited amount.

But for Mad Max: Fury Road, Mondo is going to do a 72-hour timed edition. What that means is starting at 12:00AM CST on Tuesday, August 11th until 11:59PM CST on Thursday, August 13th you can buy the posters without worrying if they’ll sell out.

Let's hope they do more of this in the future. It is so ridiculous that the standard Mondo poster literally sells out in the space it takes you to read the twitter announcement that the sale has begun, and the time you click the link. SDCC tix are easier to get at this point. I normally don't even look at their stuff anymore simply because there is NO chance of getting one.

It's only a matter of time until everything in my house has something Marvel branded on it. I am ready for my Infinity Gauntlet toilet seat!

Vampirella...man. She was the first gal to make my pants fit funny. I can still smell my Grandpaw's old b&w magazine format comics. And almonds...is that a stroke????...................eeeeeeeeeeeee_____________________________

Some of those old Vampirella comics were pretty great, too. I wonder if they ever collected them properly? I should look.

I have seen those Vampirella hardcovers in the public library and they are HUGE. I haven't gotten around to reading any of them because I am lame. :fpalm: Only the Creepy and Eerie books.

I haven't read any of THOSE, so I don't think you should feel bad.

However, you should definitely feel bad for not owning blu-ray player yet and for not having seen Mullholland Drive yet.

My memory is bad now, but Creepy and Eerie were probably my introduction to Bernie Wrightson.

This is embarassing, but I think mine might have been the Punisher Demon Hunter stuff.

EDIT: Oh, wait, no, it was Punisher P.O.V.!

WAY less embarassing!

I thought we all agreed not to talk of that Demon Hunter series anymore. :cbgb2:

I still have that silliness somewhere because I do. I got a hold of some Swamp Thing/House of Mystery reprints stuff somewhere and that was probably my intro to Wrightson.

^ After getting a full box of 12(?) from Target and then getting extras, I have several extra from Wave 1 and I could never: (A) complete the guys I wanted, and (B) get rid of my extras (even on eBay). :(
