***Anaheim Ducks vs. LA Kings GDT 4/10/25 >>7:00pm<< on ESPN+, Hulu, Disney+ ***

Mallot wants a fight
Nobody on the Ducks roster wanted any of that action. Having him and Helenius out there, with Burroughs on the backend definitely kept things from getting out of hand at the end of the game. Even Trouba minded his manners toward the end, especially after Helenius cast the evil eye in his direction.

Kempe with 3 apples and a shift where he bullied the hell out of young Mason McT.
It looked like they were on the verge of dropping the gloves. As much as I’d love to see it, Juice is probably the last guy on the team we want to see in a scrap right now.

If he should happen to come face to face with a different McSomething or other in the first round of playoffs, though, I really do hope it comes to blows.

Aside from the game itself, I really despise these streamed broadcasts. The commentators are abysmal, and the stream actually froze, and rebooted itself, twice. Did anyone else have this happen?

I watch every game via Spectrum and I love the Hulu only broadcast because the fidelity of the stream is leaps and bounds better than Spectrum’s super compressed garbage.

The announcers don’t bother me. I tend to ignore them and give my own running commentary much to annoyance of my wife and our pet dog.

Although he didn't get 1 of the stars I thought Laf had a really strong night. I really like his game lately.
It was tough to pick the 3 stars tonight (Fiala's 2 goals just seemed like "something that should have happened") - everyone contributed in small ways. The whole 4th line deserved a star for helping to give Kopi some rest and keeping the 3rd period entertaining with all the skirmishes.

Aside from the game which was fantastic to enjoy, it's near the end of the season where it's a popular thing to start the pecker measuring contest between clubs. Kings haven't been the highest scoring club but they do sport depth of scoring with now 5 members of the 20 goal club and an outside shot of getting that number to 6-7 (Moore Laferriere). For reference the Knights also have 5 20 goal scorers with Mark Stone sitting on 19 and likely to get to 20. The gap comes in secondary scoring where the Knights have 10 players with at least 12 goals compared to the kings 7. Points wise both are equal with 2 over 60 and 9 skaters over 30 points. What about edmonton you ask? Well they are as top heavy as ever, 3 scorers over 60 points, 7 over 30, only 4 20 goal scorers but they do have a plethora of 10 goal scorers matching vegas with 10. What's all that mean? Usually nothing but it makes fans feel better about themselves. Great win, time to close out this season with a tough but important 3 in 4 and don't forget about that 4th game in 6. Still an outside shot at the most wins and highest points total in Kings history for this club.

I am hearing the fat lady warming up for all of us but Rusty.

If TJ is ready, a line of him, Sammy & Malott is formidable as hell.
Frederic is not gonna be a factor, even if he plays which I don't think he will.
High ankle sprains are a mother. He was out for 6 weeks, played 1 period against us
and is now out. It will be awesome to have serious pushback vs those asshats.
Wouldn't even mind them getting the odd shift against Leon and rock his punk ass.

Everybody needs to be ready for the possibility. Not to dump on Todd again, but his and Kopi's
passive approach just doesn't fly in playoffs. I was ticked to death when Kopi got his cross checking
penalty. Maybe he's found some fire in his belly too.

I would be thrilled to see that line on ice, and see them attempt to run guys like Kane, Perry and Hyman through the boards. All three of those players listed definitely have a little something coming to them, both from our previous playoff encounters, and just the way they have played their careers in general.
