I just read the Athletic NHL Predictions 4.0. I kind of like that the Kings, despite having the fifth highest winning percentage, get no respect. Just stay under the radar, work hard, hope that DD returning makes the team even better, maybe do something before the trade deadline, and who knows? My expectations were low at the beginning of the season. Pleasantly surprised.

Kings need to figure out a way to convince the NHL to take the entire month of January off each season.

I’m on the record that this December’s schedule will drop their record over a cliff. They’re proving me wrong so far, and I’ll be more than happy to eat my words if they continue to do so
