Unfortunately, Calgary was able to weather the storm against LA's 2 PP chances this period. But at least the Kings were willing to shoot the puck more often.

Well, end of 2nd. Good thing the Kings increased their lead to 3-0. Unfortunately, they couldn't get it to four goals despite their best chances in their PP this period, especially on their 5-on-3 attempt. 20 minutes left and the Kings are just a period away from clinching a playoff spot, if they can hold on to their lead, that is.

Kings now 1 for 4 on the PP. 3-0 still and though it looks like a real comfortable lead, for LA, they have a bad habit of not making things easy on themselves. Remember, Kings, this is one game you definitely need to win to get in after you failed to do so in Anaheim two nights ago.
