***Carolina Hurricanes vs LA Kings GDT 3/22/25 1:00pm on FanDuel***

Goals from all 4 lines is extremely unusual for this team. Usually 1 hot line carries the team.

I vividly remember the Kings-Bruins game back in January of 2016 when all 4 LA lines contributed to scoring goals in that 9-2 laughfest at the TD Garden in favor of the Kings, which also happened to be Lucic's first game back in Boston as a member of the Kings that time. That was an extremely humiliating loss for the Boston faithful and an extremely well played game for LA.

Damn it, there goes Rittich's SO bid. 6-1 LA. Off of Edmundson's stick there.

Wait, there's a challenge for goalie interference.

2nd period ends. LA scores three more unanswered goals until it was broken up by an Orlov goal to spoil the SO bid for Rittich. Despite losing the challenge for goalie interference, LA kills off two penalties and maintained their lead at 6-1. 20 more minutes of hockey left; don't back off in the 3rd period, LA. This game is not yet over until the fat lady sings.

Boston playing today as well, Kings have a good shot at winning B-B.

I know Boston still has Pastrnak and Swayman, but this team just isn't the same without the core lineup of Chara, Bergeron, Krejci, Rask, and recently Marchand. If the Kings lose to them tomorrow, there's no excuse.

Speaking of which, the Kings could certainly look to add Pastrnak in their roster, but I'm not sure if Sweeney is willing to part with him. Even if he is, his asking price would likely cost the Kings some high-round picks. He could be a real great addition to the Kings roster, especially offensively.

Whoa, Jarvis collided hard onto the boards after losing an edge off of Foegele. He looks a little woozy after getting up and he's going to the locker room, that's not good for Carolina.
