Kings look outclassed by the Avs which has been fairly typical for past few years. We cannot keep up with their speed. Byfield was going to go off on a penalty anyhow so he just decided to stand in front of Darcy and leave Necas uncovered.

I think the Kings just need more big strapping bodies. That should take care of all their issues.

Yes, I just got done watching the recorded game. Clarke in the box was awesome. Clarke making friends eh?!?! . I loved it! Nice to see one of our players getting under the Stars of the league.

We used to have the most colorful jerseys in the league, I got so many compliments on my reverse retro Forum Blue and Gold Kopitar jersey when I was in Bakersfield and Boise for the preseason games there.

They match up well against the Jets and Wild so I could see a win there. But an 0-2 start should be widely expected. I don’t think there’s a tougher opponent for them than COL.

Well at least they scored on a 5-3 even if their 2-1 streak of not getting a shot off is still intact. Not sure what else to read into that game other than this early part of the schedule is looking just as brutal as it did in the offseason. I hope they get their sea legs quickly. Love the crown, hate the lack of shoulderboards and color on the thirds. I want to see the gear in person, or at least not on ESPN whose broadcasts continue to be an atrocity considering the amount they're spending to have the privilege.

I'd really like to see him on the wing of one of the top 3 lines - it just doesn't make sense to put him on a line without a finisher. Despite his limited shifts, he was noticeable out there.

I really like Fiala but he doesn't really mesh with Byfield and Laf's style of play and was frequently breaking the offensive play as a result. He'd probably look good on Turcotte's wing, however, as Turc is less north/south.
