Helenius got to play a whopping 01:10. That’s an insult.Helenius got 2 shifts (both in the 1st period). What is the point of this?? Someone make it make sense.
Please fire our clown disguised as coach!!

According to Statmuse he is right at 40% for the yearQB was 4 for 13 on faceoffs tonight for a winning percentage was 30%. Dismal. He must be under 40% for the season by now. Not what I expect from a guy who leads the forwards in TOI.
How many times can Moore give the puck away along the boards instead of getting it deep. He is not long on this sense you speak of either.I’m almost starting to pity Hiller and want him fired in a mercy killing kind of way. QB was bad but man, Fiala has zerrrroo hockey sense.
The Kings are not good. They are not average. As Kings fans, we are in for a long rebuild. Back to square one. They don't have anyone you can build around.
What's worse is the actual answer Hiller gave in the post game presser. He said they needed him in the lineup because they're short on centers. But they didn't want to play him. So they gave him only a minute of ice time. That is just beyond stupid.Fox made a lame excuse that because of all the penalties, he couldn't put them in as they would be "cold" from sitting so long. I don't get it. Goalies do it all the time!!
Unwatchable. I don't even care if I miss games anymore. Not a good, fun product on the ice.I don't know how many worst losses of the season can we have in one season? I've been through some bad seasons with the Kings. I've been through the mid 90's when the team was selling off players to keep Bruce McNall a step ahead of creditors & prison. And I've been through the years of Dan Cloutier, Barry Brust, & Yutaka Fukufuji. I've never been this pessimistic about this team. I almost dread watching games, or else hoping they'd end as quickly as possible. I actually hope they're playing to get Hiller fired. That means when it happens they'll wake up & start to play better. If not & they're really this bad then this team has huge problems.
As I posted here ad nauseam, I've been going to Kings games since their first season, and I don't remember hockey ever being this boring. I don't even care if I miss games anymore.Unwatchable. I don't even care if I miss games anymore. Not a good, fun product on the ice.
And… Fiala is at 25% and Laffy is at 42.6%. In other words, that line is always at a distinct disadvantage at the faceoff dots. A good coach would consider that in making up line combinations, especially on a team that plays a puck possession game. Hiller is so frustrating…According to Statmuse he is right at 40% for the year
Me as well, regarding 2006. The only difference was that particular team was quite good during the first part of the year, but it was all a mirage. It lead to a complete tear down, DL, and eventually 2 cups. This reminds me of the end of the 2006 season when the Kings stopped playing for Andy Murray. The game that ended his tenure was a lifeless 4-0 home loss to Colorado (who wasn't very good that season). Very similar to last night's effort and too many games this season (especially at home). DT had no choice but to remove him as coach with 3 weeks left in the season.
Like others have alluded to, there doesn't seem to be an easy fix or young pillars to build around. I am all for a complete rebuild starting with removing Hiller ASAP.
