Quick has been having a difficult time with every period these days.
That is EXACTLY what I was think about when I saw the picture!

That's halfway through the season folks. 50 points, on pace for 100 which would be an improvement over last year. Kupari was somewhat emblematic of the Kings this year. Strong game overall and one bonehead play that leads to a goal against. On the balance though nobody wants to yank him from the lineup. Vilardi's pass to Fiala doesn't get enough credit, that threesome has real potential and I hope they get time together to find it. Speaking of Fiala, its really been a long time since we've seen a "selfish" player on the kings and I have to keep reminding myself that's what it looks like when someone has the skill to beat people. I'm not sure i'd feel better about it if Lemieux was taking boneheaded penalties seeking retribution for him when he's feeling taken advantage of but these guys are going to need to find a way to cut down on the retaliation calls for sure. Great to see them pull the win out, that Dallas team is very very good.

Lizotte has always had that tenacious factor to him that Byfield has yet to show. I agree about Byfield needing to be stronger and more of a physical presence.

I do agree he needs to get stronger, however tonight it seemed like he had a little more aggressiveness to his game.

Oddly enough, Todd said it was QBs best game of the season. I agree, he was very solid tonight.

Ended the Stars 4 game winning steak, maybe Kings best game of the season. Stars will likely take it out on the quacks tonite. The Boston juggernaut will be an even tougher test tomorrow. Hopefully Kings get Moore back before that.
