GDT ***Detroit Red Wings vs. LA Kings GDT 10/30/25 7:30pm on FanDuel***

Well, that was just plain bizarre. I legit thought the game was over...turned down the sound on the TV to check my phome messages...went to use the bathroom...came back out and wondered why they were showing a highlight of a previous Kings/ Red Wings shootout.

Whatever. We still stole a point. But I've had my fill of Toronto this week, that's for sure. And I thought we had another miracle comeback against the Red Wings (Mini-Frenzy on Fig?)

**Forum gold guessed both 58 and 60, need a ruling if thats 1 or 2 points @Nyssa42

Happy Halloween for those that Hallo and/or ween. Not sure what to say about that game other than the amount of times that turning it off was the right call seems absurdly high for a game the Kings take a point from. I still dislike the high stick goal more than the GI call at the end, as soon as they showed the overhead I knew that goal wasn't going to stand. The generalized flow chart is 1) Did the contact happen in the crease, if yes proceed to two, if no goal stands. 2) Was the offensive player pushed? no, no goal, yes, goal stands. Fiala wasn't entitled to that portion of the ice, no goal. In any case they go back to working on the PK and not taking penalties because those are by far the biggest issues facing this team.

In Forum Gold's case, 2 wrongs don't make a right. Gotta be 1 point only.😁

I am glad that Talbot thought it was a good goal. He left the crease quickly after the puck went into the net. He knew he slid across too far and that he was not going to be able to make a save, even if Kevin did not nudge him.

I’m all for putting Turc back up on the top line with 9 & 11. Put Kuzy with Danault and some other offensive no-show like Malott on a checking line… both those guys have been total disappointments so far.

Those two only really produce when Q, or to a lesser degree Turq were on the line with them.

Yep, what ever contact happened did not impede Talbot's ability to make the save. It only improved his chances by stopping his movement which was going the wrong way. That is why I think he just got up and skated away. He did not feel the contact impacted the play at all.
