Does Crypto.com Arena suck the battery life from phones?

This might seem weird. But every time I go to games my phone battery goes from 100% to under 10% by the end of the game. Is this done on purpose? And if so how? I thought it was just me but the person I went to the game with said the same thing.

Boldyn installed the Cell tower repeaters in the building. The inside of the arena had repeaters everywhere because of the concrete. It’s likely switching between repeaters continually, which draws more power, so the short answer is yes.

Leveraging the free WiFi will help.

this is the best thread so far on LGK 2.0! I do not have an issue in the arena. Only thing that sucks my battery life is that darn Fruit Merge game that I have recently discovered....pretty sure that sucker is mining every bit of data from my phone while I play.
