After being helped to the locker room for further evaluation, LA PR later announced the 34-year-old rearguard would not return to the game.

Defenseman Drew Doughty will not return to tonight’s game due to a lower-body injury.

No further information is available at this time. The team is likely awaiting further medical imaging on Doughty.

In his place, Jordan Spence and Kyle Burroughs have both seen their time on ice increase dramatically.

STATS CHECK

Jordan Spence led all skaters in the game in P1 TOI, logging 9:24

Likely a career high in one period?!?
