Ah crap. It fell off the #1 spot. It's still on the front page for now, but not in the big image under the Photographer's Choice banner. It's been replaced by a kick ass image of a B-52 in-flight taken from above.

Yeah, but I can't get shots like that. The closest I ever get to another airplane in cruise is +/- 1000' vertical if it's at another altitude or 5 miles horizontal if it's at our altitude.

Pretty cool online framing store with great prices for all your goofy sized prints:

American Frame

Just placed an order with them, I'll let you know how it goes.

$110 for a nice, clean wood frame with double matte (!) for a 16\\" x 24\\" with shipping. Last time I had something like this framed, it was $300 for a single matte, if the quality is good, I'm sold on this place.

OK, I am sold on this place. The frame came today, extremely well packed, all the mattes cleanly cut, high quality frame, and cheap. The one difference between the frame stores I have been to in the past and this place is that I needed to attach the retention and hanging hardware (included, also of nice quality), but for a difference of + $200, I'll take it.

They get my recommendation.

Great shot, I love the color of the light on this one.

WTF is that. Seems like an awful lot of lampposts in one place. No wonder California has a budget crisis.

Its right next to LACMA (LA County Museum of Art) and across the street from the A+D museum... I was hired (weird) to shoot for an event

Camera bodies are crazy expensive to rent compared to lenses. No substance to this message, just bitching.

I just took my 27-55 2.8 IS lens in for repair because it died at Frozen Fury just after the IS part of it died a month ago (right after the 12 month point of course).

As it turns out, Canon warranties their lenses for 14 months, so it was still covered for another two weeks. Hopefully it will work a little longer this time, it's my fave lens that I do most of my stuff with besides hockey.

BOOM!! There goes the dynamite!!

I've just been asked to draw up a licensing agreement for my BUR Sunset picture (slightly edited) to be used on internet and print promotional material and internal corporate publications for SwissPort International!!!!

Cha-mother****ing-CHING!!!
