GDT EARLY START ***Buffalo Sabres vs. Los Angeles Kings GDT 3/21/26 >>1:00pm<< on FanDuel***

Let’s be honest… as much fun as it is to watch Panarin on offense, he is a serious liability playing defense.
Yeah but when he’ll basically score/contribute minimum one goal a game you accept that liability. There’s too much offensive talent in the league now.

After a season of Ceci and watching Spence get bounced around all last year I’d love to have Durzi’s liabilities back. At least that guy backed it up with points and an incredible heart.

Yep. Same deal with Fiala.

On the challenged goal, they said it was good even though he hit the puck over his shoulders. They said it was below where his shoulders would’ve been if he was standing straight up. I remember a goal last year, I believe from Laffy. He was falling down & batted the puck out of mid air. Where he hit the puck was above where his shoulders were but below where they would be if he was standing straight up. And that goal was disallowed. Does anyone else remember that? Maybe it was someone else & not Laffy. But I know it happened. And I don’t see why one goal is disallowed because of where his shoulders were & the other was allowed because it was where his shoulders would’ve been.

The North remembers..

What? He’s under contract for like the next 3 seasons. lol
And that is on Holland, he knew exactly what he was getting. It's not Ceci's fault that Holland signed him and for 4 years.

Let's be honest, Darcy kept the Kings in the playoff picture in the first half of the season. Without him, the Kings would have been at the bottom of the conference. Once he got banged up, he has not been the same and the Kings downfall started.

I believe on Laffy's goal they ruled that play was above the cross bar.

If I remember correctly Laf’s goal went in the net off his stick so it wouldn’t be whether it’s above his shoulders that determines the play it would be the crossbar. This play did not go directly into the goal and another player touch it so the touching with a high stick above the shoulders would be in play.

Stop ruining my optimism! There has to be some other Holland style sucker out there that wants him. We could get some practice pucks!
I think there’s a possibility of offloading him at the trade deadline next season. There may be a PO bound team that needs a R shot D. But I would expect some salary to be retained by the Kings, and probably not much more than a 3/4 round pick.
