Yeah once the Islanders pulled their goalie, Smith moved Perry up to Laferriere's line and kept rotating them with Kopitar's line. We never saw the 3rd or 4th line (or Turcotte) again. It's a shame, as those kids kept the pressure on and repeatedly hemmed the Islanders in their zone.
 
Watching the team the Kings iced last night I couldn’t help think how little I missed #22 and #55. Nyssa made a Byfield comment earlier in the GDT that showed similar thinking. I wonder where DJ will slot Q when he returns to the lineup. I really liked 12-15-14 line last night. They had speed, aggression in the o-zone and played with purpose. The top line looks more like a top line every game. Playing with Panarin and Kempe makes best use of our senior superstar. And line 4 has been such a welcome contributor… their play just makes Hiller look more like an imposter. So I guess that leaves Q centering ? and 40… but I sure have enjoyed Conners and Wright. Those 2 guys should line 3 starters next year.
