Though it was unfortunate that Malott's potential first career NHL goal was called back due to an offsides review that proved successful, the Kings were able to get two much needed goals in the period. But there's still one more period left and the Kings had better defend their lead and get more insurance goals to keep this game away from the Coilers. No holding back this time, Kings.

The score for the Kings should have been much higher, if it weren't for Malott's goal getting called back, and Fiala missing two grade-A goals after scoring one earlier. Instead, it remains 2-0 and Pickard is going to get pulled out of his net for the extra player soon.
