***Edmonton Oilers vs LA Kings GDT 4/5/25 1:00pm on FanDuel***

Game over. Hold that L, Deadmonton. You got shut out by Kuemper. A big time regulation win for the Kings today. 4 points ahead of Deadmonton now. I'm still a little disappointed because the Kings could have had much more goals scored if it weren't for Malott's goal called back and some missed insurance goal opportunities by Fiala, especially since McPrincess and Crysaitl are out. But no matter, a win's a win.

Time to bring on Seattle for the next game.

I love how everyone just assumes the Blues will be the number one wild card. They are only two points ahead of the Wild and the Wild have an easier schedule and would finish ahead with a tiebreak.

Kuz with a laser snipe! This guy is awesome!
I was super happy with him even when the points weren't coming yet. He just LOOKED like a perfect fit on that line. Like an Iafallo or a Vilardi with more creative offensive instincts. Juice has the speed, Kopi can hold the possession, and Kuz knows how to get open, or create space for his linemates. The three are really complimentary together.

So that's what the Oilers look like as a team without 2 of the best players in the league.

Kuemper is bananas this year. Kuzmenko really allowed the lines to finally come together it seems, and is a helluva thrifty player himself. GKG!

Just finished on DVR and was coming here to post the first part. (I was going to use pedestrian, since I'm cool like that.)

The second part is spot on. :cheers

Solid victory to move 4 points ahead of the Oilers. Without their top 2 players, this win doesn't mean much in the big picture, but I'll take it. I'm pretty confident if the Kings get home ice in the first round they can advance. Kuemper is 18-2-2 with 4 shutouts at home this season.
