Englund Claimed Off Waivers

As predicted, Englund has been placed on waivers and assuming he clears, will be assigned to Ontario. Crazy how he went from playing 82 games last season to only 11 this year.

With Jeannot on the team, Englund’s fists are no longer needed, and honestly I’d prefer to never need a defender in that role, unless it’s an 11-7 rotation and his time on ice is expendable. Otherwise, it should always be a low minute forward handling the dirty business, so as not to cause issue with the defensive pair rotation.
