Yep. If we could find a taker for Fiala right now, I’d do that to get him off the books so we have the space.

Andre Lee had looked worlds better since his recall, and may be a future 1st or 2nd liner. Late bloomer, but Power Forwards usually are.

I like Malott but he doesn't belong at the NHL level. It's past time to make an upgrade there.

As symbology stated, he's kept up due to his speed and physical play but it really is not enough.

I have enjoyed watching opposition players tossed aside, and bounced off him in cataclysmic collisions that send bodies and sticks flying. Imagine if this kid had the snarl of a Tom Wilson?

Andre this year vs. Andre last year is a night and day difference - even to the point of leading the Reign in scoring. He is stronger on his skates as well as faster. Seems he has finally discovered how to use that size to his best advantage. I watched a couple of Reign games before he was called up and I was surprised to see how far he had come since last year.

Seems he has finally discovered how to use that size to his best advantage. I watched a couple of Reign games before he was called up and I was surprised to see how far he had come since last year.

No doubt, he looked a bit lost last year. Perhaps my memory is hazy, but I definitely recall thinking that he looked like a different player in preseason, to start this year. Ive been looking forward to his eventual call up and thus far, he has not disappointed.

In the Malott vs Lee convo, I think Malott is trying to change his game too much, to supplement Laff and Juice on that top 6 line, rather than just do what he does best, which is to be an intimidating presence, both physically and mentally. Lee seems like he could better -supplement- those two guys with his size, reach, and physicality, without having to ‘set his snarl aside’, because he doesn’t have much to begin with anyways. He just IS a physical force due to size/strength. I need Malott back on the 4th line, dusting up the opposing teams goalie, and then wrecking anyone who comes to move him out of the crease. Or putting true fear into opponents young defenders like LaCombe and Mintyukov. If I ever have to watch Ryan Strome in or around our crease causing a ruckus, without being forcefully removed by Helenius, Lee, or Malott, ever again, it’ll be one time too many.
