True, but with that contract, if he makes the leap to the next level he could be an extremely cheap replacement for Arvidsson. I know there is a fair amount of hope there, but I’d don’t think it’s impossible either.

Only one way to find out. And that’s why I embrace the team not being a contender. Have lots of young players they can give legitimate looks to and see what they could have a couple seasons from now.

Hope after the PLD disaster the lights came on for management this is the case.

Yeah, but the second part of the two-way is pretty pricey for an AHLer, and might be a turn off to other teams. We'll see.

Yeah, I think that was done by design. Similar to Turcotte though I feel confident Turc will be on the big squad all season.
