Finally sold the house and moving.

I wish you all the best with your move. We had been on the road for over two years, and we had a house in LA for thirty years but I met my wife. We bought a house in Chico but I was still working in LA so two weeks at each place. Then my wife who used to live in San Jose wanted to visit her clients there. Over the last year we sold the house in LA and Chico and now just bought a house in San Jose. I'm exhausted but very happy. GO KINGS.

Wow, what a rollercoaster journey you've been on! Congrats on selling your house and making a profit despite all the ups and downs. It's amazing how the real estate market can sometimes surprise you, especially in these crazy times.

Your upcoming move to South Carolina sounds like a fresh start and a much-needed change. The weather and environment can make a world of difference in your overall happiness. And the timing with the playoffs and the Kings playing the Hurricanes sounds like it's going to be a memorable experience!

If you ever find yourself in need of mortgage advice Bristol, there's a great resource available. It's essential to have a financial plan in place for your new beginning.

I'll add to the thread, I am heading out to North Carolina, Lake Norman in about a week to possibly purchase a home. We are going to keep one home in So Cal for sure, however might sell the other, so I am not gone for good. I know a lot of LGK care. Now for Pevs, since it has been 18 months since your move, again congratulations. We will have to catch a Kings game together in Raleigh. My goal is a few road trips each year. Probably Pittsburgh, Capitals in DC, Columbus and Nashville. NJ and NY is a possibility. Maybe the Atlanta Flam, I mean Thrashers, I mean the expansion team. With that said, I expect to be congratulated about a year after I move.

We did make a decent profit that I had all kinds of plans for, but it literally all went into the house because in 2022 nobody was taking VA loans, so it was back to 20% conventional, which uhh yeah goodbye all my money :D But we're not homeless so that's good.

The sun is nice. I don't mind the humidity. The bugs and the allergies are insane however. They have literal pollen storms here -.- I do enjoy the summer lightning storms.. it's the most intense thing I've ever seen, like free light shows. Just nonstop rolling thunder and lightning fills the sky for hours.

Overall I'm glad we moved - the only real sh*tty thing is the lack of medicaid expansion, at least for my wife, but we knew that. Healthcare half our mortgage is fun.

That'll be cool to have a place in CA and NC. LGK does care! :D And thanks. Yes please if you intend to go to a game let me know. We get to go to 1 a year now which is a lot better than the 0 in Oregon. We haven't done much travelling North, which we need to do, to see some damn mountains and trees again, lol. Down here it's all swampland and marshlands. Honestly sometimes it reminds me of the drive up to Sequoia for some reason.. Regardless, I will congratulate you approximately 18 months after. I do hope Atlanta gets a team again - it's closer to us.
