FLASH CONTEST: PREDICT THE ROAD TRIP #3

This contest will proceed normally through any played games, but will not end with the 2/1 CAR game. Rather, the CBJ game (rescheduled to 3/9) and any other postponed and made-up games will continue be included in this contest. Those who have not been eliminated based on existing predictions, and who wish to change their predictions for postponed and made-up games, will have an opportunity to do so in a manner to be set forth after the 2/1 CAR game (or its postponement). The prohibition against changing existing predictions remains in effect.

St. Louis was the only chance for the Kings to win a game on this trip. It was a perfect storm due to St. Louis playing the night before and the fact they are also a terrible team.

After playing St. Louis, the Kings are playing all Eastern Conference Teams.

-----> Upon reflection, scratch the above. This contest will end with the 2/1 CAR game. The 3/9 CBJ game will make the early March trip a 5-game trip which will become contest #4 of 5. I will leave the prize for this contest at a $50 gift card, increasing to $75 if the winner gets all five right.

Subject to further changes if any additional games are postponed.

I've been wrong once and I don't want the Kings to lose, however, they usually get smoked by the Buffalo Sabres especially in Buffalo.

I would love to see a W tonight although I picked L for the contest. Sabres are extremely hot lately and the Kings record in Buffalo is pretty dismal. But none of our 4th line guys have ever played there for the Kings. Maybe Sammy and the two ancient rookies will save the day!

This is close. A lot of us will be eliminated if the Kings beat the Flyers. If not, it's all tied up. A loss by the Kings and only These (The) Nuts would be eliminated.

-----> Funnily enough, a loss by the Kings in Philadelphia would not eliminate The Nuts. It would leave the other eight with 3 points and The Nuts with 2, but if the Kings then beat Carolina, it would be a nine-way tie at 3 points. But, yes, a win by the Kings in Philadelphia would eliminate the other six who now have 2 points.

It's all my extra double secret contrarian plan... an "L" would've been an easy guess., I saw an opportunity to gain an advantage..STRATEGERY! ... Of course my diabolical scheme was thwarted by literally being wrong on every game including BUF. so you may be onto something....
.... Actually i thought BUF has been hot, and due for a bit of a letdown and might just play down to the Kings level. Little did I realize the Kings apparently have several more levels of crapulence yet unexplored.
