Foegele traded to Ottawa

For a 2nd rounder and swapped-picks. Wonder what the Kings will get?

Pagnotta says the Kings get OTT's '26 second and swapped '26 thirds.

Looks like we now have 3 second-round picks in 2026 now? 42 (our own), 48 (from CBJ), and now 58 from OTT? Also moving from #92 to #77 in the third?

Well, so long McLovin.

I mean, Utah got Weegar for 3 second round picks. And yes, Olli Maata and a prospect. But I don’t think Maata was seen as a value add.

So, you are saying that the Kings should not have to trade down in the 1st round just to acquire the 2nd round pick the wasted in a trade? Whooda thunkit.

Though the TDL has yet to pass. There is still time to blow all those 2nd rounders.

And now both principal players in the “f***ing coward” incident are gone. The Foegele trade was totally predictable after that public scene. Kings have now jettisoned 2 malcontents. Okay… time to move on from Foegs and Phil.

Can they find a taker for Moore tomorrow?

Initial thought: oh cool, we got BUF's 2nd. That must be closer to a first.

Damn, when did Buffalo become so good?

I guess Moore is next to get rid of from last season's amazing third line. Which has been a huge disappointment this season.

Foegele’s track record would seem to indicate that last season’s high offensive output was the anomaly, but I still can’t say I really care for this trade. I suspect management is just clearing lanes for guys like Connors and Wright for next season.. and possibly the remainder of this season if the Kings continue to find themselves slipping further out of playoff reach.

Anyways, can we trade Byfield, Fiala and a 2nd to St Lou for Thomas, please?
