I mean, Utah got Weegar for 3 second round picks. And yes, Olli Maata and a prospect. But I don’t think Maata was seen as a value add.

And now both principal players in the “f***ing coward” incident are gone. The Foegele trade was totally predictable after that public scene. Kings have now jettisoned 2 malcontents. Okay… time to move on from Foegs and Phil.

Foegele’s track record would seem to indicate that last season’s high offensive output was the anomaly, but I still can’t say I really care for this trade. I suspect management is just clearing lanes for guys like Connors and Wright for next season.. and possibly the remainder of this season if the Kings continue to find themselves slipping further out of playoff reach.

Anyways, can we trade Byfield, Fiala and a 2nd to St Lou for Thomas, please?
