Great Playoff Games in LA Kings history

I remember when the Kings forced a Game 7 against the Crapalache in the second round. They ended up losing that series, haha, but after that Game 6, I had all the hope in the world that they were gonna pull it off. ;)

If Smolinski hadn’t hit the post imand actually scored late in the 2nd period, we would have won that game, and maybe taken a run to the finals.

Last night, was NOT one of the greatest Playoff Games in Kings History.
LOL
No, last night's game was not one of the greatest playoff games in Kings history. Although the roar of the crowd when Danault's knuckleball fluttered in over Skinner's shoulder was almost as deafening as the Frenzy on Fig. But I believe it was more of a high-volume collective sigh of relief.

Best playoff loss might be game one against Toronto in 1993. They were losing, the game wasn’t in doubt, and Marty took a run at monkey boy Gilmour. Just showed they were ready to f*** sh*t up and do whatever it was gonna take to win that series. Second biggest playoff hit in Kings history. Biggest being Brown on Sedin.

Also, given that he’s been the color commentator for over two decades now, it’s not mentioned enough how Wayne Gretzky had a chance to put the Miracle away in 1982, but Jimmy Fox undressed him to take the puck away and keep the play alive.
