I remember his first season with the Kings. He had an absolute brilliant preseason and then just could not produce in the regular season. I think he led the team in scoring preseason.

I see so much of Hull in his Calgary days in Kaliyev I really hope they give him a chance before they dump him.

I like the interview, but I wish he would have given a more detailed and expanded answer when asked about PLD. I would have preferred to hear, "yes, we really need to get him going," or "yes, he has been disappointing." Fine line maybe from throwing a guy under the bus but PLD needs to get called out by someone in coaching or mgt.

I wish Jim Hiller well. Seems like a good dude.
