If by 'prospects' they referring to first or second year potential NHLers then it makes sense.

Byfield, Clarke and the two picks in their 'what if' proposal is a no brainer IMHO regardless if you still consider them prospects or not. (And certainly Laffy could be an additional enticement.)

That would be ideal but do we honestly think Edmonton lets him go for no assets? Not a chance.

If he doesn't resign, I think TOR backs up the Brinks truck (in cash/assets, whatever it takes) ...If TOR fails to get him, that city will have a collective aneurism (following the collective ritual suicide of the entire city of Edmonton.)
