How to fix the Kings PP:
1) After opposing team takes penalty, immediately put on six skaters on the ice
2) Get called for Delay of Game or Too Many Men
3) Go on 4-on-4
4) Skate Kempe
5) Score

A perfectly legal way to decline the power play. Brilliant!

When it gets to the point where other teams have figured it out and start taking liberties and slashing and hooking at will, we're in really big trouble. I mean, it's a win-win situation. Even if they don't get away with dirty plays, who cares? All it means is a Kings power play.

If we don't get our special teams together...and like right now...we're ******d

How about by stop doing the same thing over and over and over and over again with the same lack of positive results.
Whenever the “1st” unit is out; it’s like they are just trying to play keep away. Pass the puck around for a minute and get off the ice….

At this point, I would settle for the Kings to play keep away with the puck as to avoid any more shorties. Offensive pressure? Ha! rolleyes:

At this point anything we do besides what we are doing will be an improvement.

It would be virtually impossible to do worse...even if we tried. The only way our power play gets worse is if we actually try to score on our own goalie...but we'd probably miss the net.

Whatever happened to wise defensemen shooting the puck low in hopes of an advantageous rebound?

Another way: A deliberate faceoff violation right when the power play begins, then follow steps 3-5.
Is the 2nd guy in the faceoff violation given the penalty? If so it will be strategic to place a 4th liner or not as good skater in the Box, say Brown when he's healthy.

As someone has mentioned either here or in another post, "DECLINE" the penalty.
or,
Play the 4th line.....
