Back on Opening Night of the 2025-26 NHL season, a new commercial debuted featuring various players in skits that involved them ‘working from home.’ It was a big hit and gained a lot of traction among fans. Now, the league is back with a second commercial from what they’re promoting as ‘The Next Golden Era is Now’ campaign.
Titled “Day in the Life,” this spot is set to debut during and around games played on Tuesday, Nov. 11 and according to producers “offers a humorous, hockey-centric take on influencer culture and social media trends.” Some of the players featured include Kings sniper Adrian Kempe, Blackhawks phenom Connor Bedard, Sharks teenage sensation Macklin Celebrini, Lightning defenseman Victor Hedman, and Toronto Maple Leafs budding superstar Matthew Knies. It’s just the latest effort by the league to showcase a myriad of top players “through the lens of contemporary trends and cultural conversations.”
