Because the first 200 episodes were so much fun, Kings Of The Podcasts co-hosts John Hoven and Dennis Bernstein decided to keep the good time rolling this summer.
Joining them for show No. 201 is former Kings forward Jim Thomson. He played for the team in the earlier ’90s and has the distinction of being selected in three separate NHL Expansion Drafts. He’s also the first player ever to suit up as a member of both the Kings and Mighty Ducks. During this extended chat, Thomson shares a variety of stories from his playing days, including many involving some of his LA teammates during that era.
Additionally, during the first and third periods, the conversation turns to more recent news items – such as Erik Portillo’s new contract, touring Uber Arena (home to Eisbären Berlin), and some recent changes to the TV landscape for NHL fans.
