LA Kings Kings vs Ducks 3 PM

Who’s bright idea was it to have games available only on Samsung TVs? Is this going to continue through the season?

I really hope we can find a way to not let Greentree get stuck in the OHL. He's way too good for that
You guys must be watching a different game than I am. Greentree seems relatively invisible to me, and also seems to play rather small for a 6’2”, 210lb forward. He will definitely be headed back to the CHL. No chance he makes our NHL roster.

I was really noticing him every time he was out there today. Yes he is very "green" (pun intended), but he's got skills. Just needs to get used to the pace of the game. Today's game kept changing pace, too, very noticable when it was vets vs. noobs, and he was often out with vets. He was keeping up well with the faster pace, just mis-timed a couple passes.

To me, he looked better than the majority of the younger players - even those who have had on and off NHL/AHL experience.

I do agree that he plays smaller than his height/weight would suggest right now, but that is to be expected until he acclimates to the faster speed of the game given that speed isn't his forte.

Definitely a diamond in the rough at this point, so to speak. Clearly too good for the OHL.

I’ll agree that he definitely does not belong back in the CHL. He looks better than most of the rookies on either squad, but I do not think he has outplayed Turcotte, Malott, Helenius, or Lee.

Missing the birthday deadline to qualify for the AHL by 1 frikkin day seems like a cruel joke at this point. Greentree really needs to play against better competition this season. Dominating in Juniors was something he already accomplished last season

Was it not discussed that this rule will be changed this season already? Did it not go through or has decision not been made already?

He has definitely outplayed Lee who looks clumsy and lumbering this year.
Yeah - outplayed Lee, on par with Helenius and a step behind Mallot. Turcotte looked like one of the best forward on the ice so there wasn't much comparison.

What all of those players have is NHL experience which Greentree has yet to get a taste of. With the possible exception of Turcotte, he will be better than the rest.
