My head says the Kings will get swept. My heart says they’ll win in 7. Part of the fun is getting your hopes up just to get punched in the gut every year except for 2012 & 2014.

Our pk sucked then and two back to back pp gave them momentum. Had the refs not call the clean check Fiala did on Draisaitl could have been the difference. I don’t like complaining about the refs but against the Oilers, they seem to come up with some phantom trips and calls.

They didn't get swept last year or the year before, and they have a better team this season. I'd give them a 25% chance in this series.

That sounds about right to me. All things considered they’ve got a decent chance.
 
Watching the two games today decreased my optimism for much success based on the style of play and how our team is constructed. We're a system team with skill players on our best days, but those teams in both games were swarming and brutally physical.

Carolina, my god. They would consistently swarm on attack from the wings with speed, send someone directly to the net and throw everything that way in direct contrast to how we try all the passing and fancy plays. They look like absolute beasts.

Hope I'm wrong, but we'll see.
 
2 years ago if we had Doughty I think we'd have beat them. Last year our PK was old balls and I think our goalie was too. I believe our PK was what, 50% or something garbage? This year we got Doughty, we got the #1/2 PK - if we can maintain that I think we got a decent chance. The Oilers have gooned it up a bit - which we definitely lack in that dept., though I'll say Fiala and Kempe have added some grit this year I think, Arvy's back for some, Englund exists - so we have a tiny bit going there. I think it'll be a close series in reality, we just need to find ways to score which we seem to struggle against Skinner sometimes. You can't say stay out of the box because McD is as good at drawing penalties as he is at passing. If we can't beat em in 3 blow up the damn front office please though? GKG!

I know most everyone says these things tongue in cheek, but I’m 100% serious that the Kings need to adopt the Joe Pesci from Casino mentality. Bring a baseball bat, go to jail, get out of jail, go right back over with the baseball bat. Play with wild abandon and make it a contest of who’s willing to endure more bruises and blood. Kings can’t outskill the Oilers, so it’s imperative that they let them know it’ll be a gruesome war of attrition, and hope to make it through without any serious injury. You’ll likely lose a couple games this way, but you might also give yourself the opportunity to win 4.

As evinced by our games against Dallas, this team isn’t going to win any spelling contests, but they might win a street fight.

And it's that punch to the gut that I dwell on until October. Just sayin'.
 
Google mentioned Sling TV for the only means of watching the game. Do we know if it will be on BSW or anything?
 
The Oilers' and Kings' records are both identical to their records in 2022, when the series went 7. Just FYI

Fubo lineup shows the game on BS San Diego and BS Socal. Angels are on BSW.
 
To watch the game just go to Bally's site and stream it there. Put in your provider info, login to your provider and you should be good to go. I only have BSW on Spectrum, but watched the last Kings game that was on BSSC by watcing it on ballys.com
 
So far,

Kings2Jets players (13/9) have 3 points are are +/- +2 in Gm 1 of the playoffs.

Looking at you JetsKings (PLD), you better step up and make a difference.
