Posting in both threads - Yeah that was great, we watched the special then the game, was like 5 hours. It felt like an event, and gave me the goosebumps, and tears, seeing Greener and Bob Miller and Dustin choking up and Foxy. Then the Kings came out, destroyed the Penguins, made Sidney lose his marbles, Kempe sets a record, Copley gets a shutout. Felt like it was 2012 again and gave me about the same feels as going to the rally/parade. Truly special and I'm so glad it was aired basically uninterrupted. Perfect 5 hours of hockey and we loved it. Having said that, I don't really see the uhh, likeness, in the statue - I assume it's supposed to kind of artistically represent the whole 2012 team, or I just don't know much about art/statues, but that looks more like my wife's father (a literal old lumberjack) than Dustin Brown. Either way - dude's got a banner in the rafters and a statue, just a kid from Ithaca and I remember him getting drafted when I was.. 12? Awesome!
