Kuz is back

Mark Hardy and Tim Watters say hi!

Birdman opens with a pair to beat a full house. Nice.

Somehow I knew Dave Taylor would be involved but not sharing a bench with the pairing. I was thinking more of two beating heart cadavers from Eastern Europe in mid January in front of an off-his-meds Cechmanek.

...but I know hockeydb (e.g. facts)is going to ruin my imagery so, I'm not going to even look. =)

Modry was way better than he got credit for.

Baloney ! I'll never believe that... but much like Cliff's description of Gauthier, it was always that first pass up center ice that never made it to the intended recipient with Modry. Dude never stopped doing it. F that clown.

But he was banging one timers in playoff OT against the Avs Super Team:

Actually makes sense not just for recent events but given TOR got a bit meaner this offseason.

Time for Malott to get into an actual fight again. Hopefully two. The one player whose minutes I do want to see kept below five minutes.
Not a fan of Malott? Sure, no one is ever going to mistake him for Mark Stone on the wing, but he and Turcotte seem to generate a chemistry that results in some 2 on 1 chances in the offensive zone. Now, if only one of them could capitalize on those chances. I feel like they should have at least 5-7 goals between the two of them.

Don’t like them sitting Kuz. He is a higher end talent. Looking at the stats, there are a few others who are well below where they should be.

This is simple math and physics problem people.

He’s just too damn small.

Wait until Turcotte starts getting scratched for Big Strapping Sami next.

I can't figure out what to make of Malott, but I like him but He has size and speed but doesn't seem to have much offensive skill. He's good at fore-checking in the offensive zone, though, and creating opportunities. Both he and Turcotte seem like they need a finisher on the line.
