We’re already talking about next season?

That’s right!

Building on the home openers for all 32 teams released on Monday, the NHL rolled out the full 2024-25 schedule early Tuesday morning.

Los Angeles Kings home opener will be Oct. 24, as noted last week on KOTP.

Their opponent will be Tyler Toffoli and the San Jose Sharks. #GoKingsGo open the season on the road Oct. 10 at Buffalo, the beginning of a two-week roadie.

Full schedule tomorrow.

Before things officially get underway in October, the Kings will first play six preseason games — including none at home in Downtown LA, as Arena will still be undergoing renovations. However, there will still be two opportunities to see the Kings play locally during the preseason. And they’ll be wearing their new uniforms that were just announced last week.

– First game against the Oilers is Dec. 28 in LA
– Two seven game road trips.
– First game against Utah is Oct. 26
– Seven consecutive Saturday home games in the first half of the season, and six consecutive Saturday home games in the second half of the season
– A season-high six game homestand in February
– Of the Kings final 38 games, 23 are at home

Additional Notes:

– Training Camp dates are not available just yet. However, with Rookie Camp slated to begin around September 12, look for Main Camp to start about a week later.

– LA Kings prospects will compete in the NHL Rookie Faceoff Tournament this September, with the six-team event hosted at Toyota Sports Performance Center in El Segundo.

– There will not be an NHL All-Star Weekend in 2024-25. It’s being replaced by the Four Nations Faceoff, hosted in Montreal and Boston in mid-February.
