***LA Kings @ Anaheim Ducks GDT 10/20/24 5:00pm on BSW & NHL Network (& KCOP13)***

The Flyers don orange better than the Quacks. Anaheim only recently introduced orange to their jerseys for the past several years mainly because of their Orange County roots. At least the Quacks don't even pretend they're from LA unlike a certain baseball team next door.

Every game I lose the game or get cable freeze ups in the first period. So at least I can switch to Heyward for this one.

End of 1st. Game remains a scoreless tie for now. Despite two chances on the PP for Anaheim, they have failed to convert. As usual, the Pond remains a house divided when it comes to Kings games being hosted in Anaheim. LA has to clean up their act and step it up for the next 40 minutes.

Zero points so far in the poll questions I've been able to answer in time. Got to get back on track. Unfortunately I will not be able to see the game...again. Bought tickets to the Raiders/Rams a few months ago, and yesterday I got handed a ticket to the Dodgers playoff game. I'll have approximately 1 hour to make it from So Fi Stadium to Dodger Stadium... may have to leave the Rams game a little bit early.

And what the bloody hell is up with the early start? I guess the NHL schedule makers didn't think Kings fans had suffered enough after that long road trip back east. Oh well...

Pt 1:
4-2, 5-2 or 2-1

Pt 2:
Kempe, Kopi, Moore, Fiala
Carlson, Fowler, Zebras, Terry

Thanks Susan and GKG!

Great sports day!

Good discipline by Clark about 5:30 in to the 2nd period. Backed off in the ozone instead of going for the open puck. Stayed with McTavish to the dzone and then poked it away from him into the neutral zone for Laf.

Clarke is doing better all-around right now than I thought he would. I was expecting an over-eager kid who was going to get burned quite often.
