***LA Kings @ Anaheim Ducks GDT 10/20/24 5:00pm on BSW & NHL Network (& KCOP13)***

Thanks Section 401 for making it a fun as hell game, all the chants, all the razzing of the fowl, also I don't think I have yelled so much at a game in a long time. Feels weird as hell though that the Schmucks do the "Beat LA" thing. "Welcome to Orange Country, where you can see the flying pylons."

Also Sucks, come up with some original material than using Bailey as a dog in a reverse "Duck Hunt" with Wild Wing slap shotting Bailey and using Nintendo sounds. Comes off as minor league.
 


You aren't sure why your team played half ass tonight? Guess when you have a moron coaching you get moronic results. I have no idea how he charmed Pat Verbeek into his job. Guess he works cheap. Any major market would eat this guy alive.

My wife and daughter were there, lots of Kings fans, lots of empty seats.
 
Team woke up, dominated the 3rd and beat a team they should absolutely beat every game. Vegas will be tough but win or lose, should be happy with the number of points they brought back home from the road trip even if they didn't play well for a lot of it. Gotta beat the Sharts at the home opener.

Special shout out to @Bill Hicks who was the only poster to guess and miss points because they didn't select Kempe. Glad the Kings were rewarded for being the better team, but this one took a long while to get there. Not sure the knights game will be more telling but at least it will be the official last game of this roadie.

you have to scroll down on the app to pick the kings specific feed. It kept defaulting back to the rams for me too every time the connection dropped. The NHL app audio feed can be way behind but at least it's way more stable.

I see it now! Kind of goofy interface. But I’ll give this a shot for the next game.
 
I'm also out of market and don't have the NHL Network. So I was listening to the game on the NHL app, and watching the Dodgers/Mets on mute. Until intermissions, then turned on volume for the Dodger game. With the ESPN app, I'll get to watch 70ish games this season. Last night wasn't one of them.

Just don't look at the Play by Play section on the NHL app if you're listening... it gets updated seemingly in real time, and the radio feed is always behind.

Byfield did a no look pass trying to clear from the corner, right to a ducks player who then passed it across to another ducks player at the opposite circle, took a shot, Strome tipped it in. D lost Strome an left him alone right in front of BSD.

Strome with a tip in from (I think) Terry's shot-pass...pretty much left unchecked alone in front of Rittich well executed on their part- Don't recall if they had pulled Dostal at that point,. Sucks for Rittich to lose the shutout..but not as much as Mikey's sweet bank shot empty netter costing ME a point in the poll question.
