The Kings finish the game with a +2 in the Goal Differential column! Been a long time coming...

Does this ESPN crew ever shut the **** up? I mean the Kings score a 4th goal and they're blabbering about faceoff percentages or something. They're always talking about a players high school team, or a goal a guy scored 3 months ago, or the other teams astrological sign - let the game sell itself. Talk about the game. Stop talking so much. I rarely mute but this is unbearable!

Hilarious! All I can hear now is the guy calling it “fight night” ever since the end of the second. Refs denied them lots of mileage by preventing the goalie fight but the ESPN crew was not deterred.

Agreed, not to mention after a Kings goal, they went to the wrong replay and showed a Ducks goal. Poor production quality. Doesn't the NHL have quality broadcast standards for ESPN to meet?

Congratulations to the following posters who correctly guessed the first goals would be scored by Lizotte and/or Shattenkirk:

Unfortunately i missed this one, mini took a knee on knee and will be out for playoffs....way to get a win for Quick though

After tonight's game, the Los Angeles Kings have the #2 power play in the NHL!

Should I repeat that?

What sucks is, if Bally folds and we lose the remaining tv games, we'll be begging for ESPN coverage.

And some people doubted, after I had shown year after year, Hiller has improved power plays he has coached.

That's entirely likely, though without TV does't the game make.. no money?

It leaves the teams affected negotiating new TV deals very quickly. I can't imagine that the NHL would simply write off viewership in so many major media markets.

About the broadcast, did they start halfway through the 1st? Because that’s when the replay started. And when the audio cut out, which it did a lot, was that because they were picking up cussing on the microphones?

Anyway, great game! It’s always good to beat the Ducks no matter how bad they are. And I love the fire Copley showed, even though it got him kicked out.

Go Kings Go!
