***LA Kings @ Boston Bruins GDT 10/12/24 >>>10:00AM<< on BSW***

I will add that Blake had a chance to upgrade our D on the LHS by getting a more mobile puck mover. He went for size and crosschecking ability. In no sane world should Gavrikov be used in Overtime. Lets not forget who built this team.

I was on radio for the game so I can't add a lot but glad they got at least one. Sounded like October hockey where a hot goalie can hide a lot of things, for both teams. My neighbor from Boston seemed to feel a lot like most of kings fandom because they keep running into Florida as their Edmonton. Take heart, everyone is miserable!

They are absolutely ready, it's 2 freaking games and the sky is falling with these kids. This isn't a cup team, they need to play every night and they will get better. Clarke has been called a no miss future star by pretty much everyone.
Damn. I was in the "they are (probably) not ready camp" but you got me here with the voice of reason. I admit that we've got to take the bad with the good and let these kids get experience and grow.

Love. Todd starting every OT with the same 3 forever is no more.
I am good with change, but I seriously question the wisdom of choosing this particular trio... especially when they don't have the puck. Put Mikey out with 22 & 55... someone has to defend.

Spence and Clarke just helped hold the Bruins to 1 goal in regulation.
So when the Kings give up six goals, are we to say, Clarke and Spence just helped the opposing team score six goals in regulation, if they play in the game? They are young players, they are going to make mistakes. I just don't see them becoming elite defensemen and the Kings don't have one on the ice at this point

I feel like there is a "Last Train to Clarkesville" joke in here somewhere. Or maybe that's just the train I'm on. Give the kid a break!! I hated Drew Doughty until the 2012 Cup run.

Hiller’s OT scheme yesterday felt like a go-for-broke approach as they weren’t likely to beat Swayman in the shootout. While Drew is out I like the experimentation, and even more so when when the shootout feels ominous.
