***LA Kings @ Boston Bruins GDT 12/15/22 4:00pm on BSW***

Don't understand why McLellan won't have Kopi set up behind the net on the PP instead of on the half wall. At his height and with his love for passing, that would seem to be his best place to operate.

Trade Doughty boy his wheels fell off. That was the worst PP I've ever seen

You could easily argue the injury ravaged Kings looked better without him last year. That's a scary thought especially with his contract.

There isn't a team in the league that would trade for that deal. He's stuck here and all you can hope for is somehow getting an all star caliber Dman to take some pressure off.

I would retain salary if needed. Dudes shot sucks and now he's not even playing good D. I would love to get some value for him

First, another Dumb Kempe penalty, then allow opponents to walk right in with A grade opportunity, then goal against

This is gonna get out of control soon. But McLellan will still not use his time out, nor will he change anything in response.

Can't wait to see this guy gone.

Not a chance in hell. That contract is kryptonite and his game has fallen off a cliff. Like I said before, the only hope is that you can somehow trade for an all star caliber guy to take the pressure off and Clarke is ready for primetime STAT.

At least, we won't be going into the third this time with delusions of winning, lol. :rolleyes2:

I assume the Kings will cheap out in this year, fire TM when we miss playoffs...just hope we get a real coach again.

Kopitar's problems with offensive zone face-offs on the PP continue tonight.

He's made some crappy plays but I don't have a problem with his play as much as his utilization. Drew would be better at 22-23 minutes a game instead of > 26. When I lived in DC, lots of fans rode Kevin Hatcher for his play. Some of that was being a huge guy and not throwing his weight around but a lot was for turnovers and other mistakes. You can't play 25 minutes per game and not make mistakes. If there is a "per capita" mistake tally, I don't think Doughty's is outrageous.
