***LA Kings @ Boston Bruins GDT 12/15/22 4:00pm on BSW***

I still got some skepticism after that loss to the Leafs. But this win tonight is about the most any fan could expect of a team trying to break through. And Copley? Welp, more ice time is coming for him.

If by more ice time, you mean the #1 starter spot until he clearly proves otherwise? Then yep, I wholly agree.

Kings won this -despite- the refs. How many ****ty little ticky tack stick foul calls they made, and they blew some obvious ones. The high stick to Kopi, the blatant trip on AI just before regulation time expired, and a brutally obvious slash by Marchand on AI late in OT. THEN the little rat goes way late in to throw a hit/elbow as Danault dusted it up ice. Kings should definitely be submitting this tape to the league office, because it’s a total joke

I'm really surprised that someone hasn't seriously hurt that Marshand by now after all these years. He is and always has been one dirty ass player

Durzi had a solid, measured defensive effort tonight. Excellent game except for the late penalty.

It's a long flight for JAD with his grill and nose being disturbed. I give him tons of credit to continue playing. I'm so glad they won as the sting won't be as bad, unfortunately it will sting.

Quality comeback, exactly what you want to see out of this team (other than just winning in regulation). Big homestand, gotta win at least 3 of these (Sharks, Ducks, Yotes).

Say what you will about the state of the Kings... Barring the Buffalo game, they don't give up. They need to hone in on that and try and build off it. Take the small positives and keep those front and center.

Congratulations to Nyssa for shutting out everyone after the Buffalo points handout. Nobody was closer than 2 minutes or so.

Did not expect the kings to stick with that the way they did. Not sure it changes a ton of the narrative about this team, we know the high and the low, what is their cruising speed is the big question.

One last note on that game, everyone better buy Grundy a beverage for pulling that goal off the line behind Copley, theres no way that game goes like that after one of those.

After the up & down road trip & the major suckage of the Buffalo game, you all had to know the Kings were going to pull off this win. Not because we're better than the Bruins but because that's who the Kings are. IMO, as great as Kempe & Moore were in getting their goals, it was a great overall team effort. But to me the 1st star was Pheonix Copley. He was outstanding. I'll always be a Quick fan but as long as Copley is playing like this, he should get the bulk of the starts from now on. Great win!!!

Go Kings Go!

It was a great win but it doesn't change the fact that TM cannot get this team to play consistently at it best level.

Just when you're ready to write 'em off, they suck you back in again!

This team has all the hallmark signs of a young inexperienced core. I think what this season is showing us more than anything is the days of Kopitar, Doughty and Quick leading the team are officially in the past. We're unquestionably in a new era and there is no established identity to fall back on. Until the next group takes control things are going to be in constant flux. So enjoy the highs and try not to read into the lows too much. Rob Blake has built an exciting roster.
