Well it wasn't pretty for 2 periods but I'll take just the one period of play considering the bugaboo that the kings historically have in Buffalo. Kuemper looks great and that was definitely not a defensive system adding to his stats. Kopitar shooting the puck is always a beautiful thing and Laf looks effective with him. Q and Foegle clearly are on the same page and jeannot looks like he will work out for Danault and Moore. Everything else....well there's a lot of season to oil that machine. As was mentioned 82-0 is on the table boys!

I legit had to re read both posts like 4 times, Nyssa was so convinced it was edmundson that had the first penalty, thank God it wasn't or Id be making that list out til Saturday
 
During the 1st half of the game I was afraid this would be another ass kicking by the Sabres. Thank God for Keumper keeping us in the game. Considering how badly they’ve beaten us recently, this is a pretty good win. And way to go Kopi. The old guy’s still got it.
 
I only got to see the highlights. It looked like Kuemper was strong, and the defense was porous in front of him.

I didn’t hear much from the new guys, 37, 10 and the 4th line. How did they look?
 
I was thinking of doing a What They're Saying thread so I visited the HF Boards but there's not much there... there in 40 pages.

What there is you can pretty much predict:
Got goalied
Toronto is corrupt
The refs are corrupt
Fire the coaches
Sell the team
Trade everybody
We're 0-3 so let's tank

Turcotte and Lee were very impressive. QB's line is struggling to play in a connected way but I think they will come around. The difficulty is, of course, getting 22 to work with 37 & 55 and not just play an individual game. I think 10-24-12 is gonna work best when Moore starts taking the puck to the net and shooting again. Jeannot is good a creating traffic at the front of the net to pick up any garbage.
 
Darcey kept them in this game. If this a sign, Darcey will have a good year and help the Kings. Rest of the team, well got lucky they won with only a 20 minute showing.

Sorry - I was delirious during the 1st period because the sanctity of my living room television was being violated.
