***LA Kings @ Calgary Flames GDT 2/27/24 6:00pm on BSW***

2nd period is done. The Kings looked like they were about to give up in that period but they still showed some fire to get some goals. Scoring was up in that period after many minutes of eventless hockey and now the game is tied with 2 goals each.

Unfortunately, even with this effort, LA is going to get roasted by Vancouver the next game as Vancouver will be all over the Kings. I hope I'm wrong with this statement once LA visits Vancouver.

I think that is a bigger, organizational problem. They take what seems like a long time to get them ready
but won't give them the opportunity to learn on the job. Which is the best way to learn.
I get it, jobs are on the line etc... but wtf?
 
Byfield once again doing the right thing on that goal driving to the net taking a defender with him opening up a slot for Fiala to score from. Can only hope some of these other teammates can improve at the pace he has, wasn’t long ago many here wanted him gone also. That doesn’t show up a score sheet
