I also like Todd but his lineup decisions in this OT have been perplexing at best. Why is Kopi out there the entire time?
 
yep, there it is sad, so sad for Kings. Had a 3 goal lead and shot that all to hell in 2nd
 
Talk about a bad taste in your mouth. I'm starting to hate the Canes. They have beat Kings 7 straight at home. Ok, I really dislike you Canes.
 
Storm surge? Those guys have awful rhythm if they were supposed to be doing that together.
 
Brind'Amour gets it that in OT possession is key. It is OK to skate around and do nothing as long as you maintain possession and slowly wear out the opposition. Kings had the puck twice in the OT that I can remember. Iafallo shot it a few seconds after forcing a turnover which led to a faceoff that we lost to Staal (all of them). And then Fiala had the nice attempt from the slot after the Kings broke out of their zone. So probably 15-20 seconds on Kings possession in the entire OT. Otherwise, it was all Carolina.

The days of Sutter and playing strategic hockey are apparently in the past.
 
That was so utterly predictable. All of it. Everything after the surprise 2nd was everything dumb about this team right now.
 
Certainly can’t put this loss on Copley but he now has an .897 Sv % on the season. Blake needs to find a goalie ASAP.

But none of it was surprising. They can score; they just can’t keep it out of theirs.

At this point, I am beginning to hope they don’t make the playoffs and significant changes are made.
