Well, I may be too young to remember at the time but the Avs of the late 90s and early 00s were a real nightmare for teams to face with Sakic, Forsberg, Lemieux, Roy, and later Blake manning those teams. This current iteration of the Avs may not be as gritty as their 90s-00s counterparts but they can move fast and score at will.

I think they will win the Cup if they can get decent goaltending. Meanwhile the NHL's stupid playoff system will have one of them or Dallas eliminated in the first round.
