1st period ends. Though LA got at least one goal, unfortunately Dallas scores three in the period thanks to defensive miscues by LA. It hurts since Dallas is missing three of their good players and yet they managed to control this period quite well. Now LA seriously has to recuperate and wake up in the next coming period. They must not let Dallas score any more goals.

They are deceptively fast.
But they've had a few major breakdowns defensively and were very fortunate their goalie came up big.
Rough first, but I think the Kings will come back and at least make game of it. Keeping fingers crossed......

No there's no question the Stars are a better team. The talent disparity is quite obvious.
To beat the Stars the Kings have to play basically a perfect game, and they're not close to that tonight.
